ABOUT

Raised in the picturesque and culture rich city that is Dunedin, New Zealand, Hana Hoskins has been surrounded by creative influences her whole life. From a very young age Hana knew  she wanted to pursue the arts and has always had some sort of project on the go. Mesmerized by colour and pattern and their reflection of soul and identity, Hana was drawn into fashion design soon after graduating high school where she found a bit of a calling from the world of digital textile print. Hana works as a colour technician for an industry leading printing company in her home town.

Hana's works are vibrant and whimsical, with a focus on diversity and kitch aesthetics. She blends elements of print design with bold, unique portraiture and nostalgic still life. Hana's style is forever changing and evolving (much like her hair) but her love of wacky patterns and colour palettes remains a constant. She is a firm advocate for body positivity and queer representation and hopes to make the world just a little bit less dull, beige and soulless.
